These low voltage lights are easy to install, virtually flush with the surface, and hardly visible. They can be installed almost anywhere for attractive down lighting, so long as they’re embedded in wood or composite materials. They can be installed outdoors in the ceiling of an overhang above a deck or patio, under a deck railing, or in a porch overhang. Inside, find creative uses for these lights as recessed cabinet lighting or closet lights.     I ordered about 30 of these a couple of years ago – unfortunately I seem to lose about one or two per year – my issue is that they are very expensive and I’d love to see a discounted price for replacement lights since it appears I’ll need to replace a few every year.

    I like your product, but they are highly expensive. If I weren’t already invested in a system that had a few lights fail (wiring issue, not the actual light) I would have found another solution due to the price.

    5 lights went bad and the credit that should be issued under the 10 year warranty is not coming.

It is our warranty policy not to issue a credit, but to repair the product in question or replace if beyond repair. I will escalate your case with our warranty department to ensure this gets taken care of expeditiously!

    Sales rep told me NexGen bulbs would provide equivalent lighting to 60 watt incandescent, stating 60 watt bulb sends light in all directions, whereas the NexGen bulb sends all light either up or down. I purchased and installed 4 NexGen fixtures and they hardly threw any light at all. A single 60 watt bulb would have been much brighter, which makes sense because typically you need 13-15 watt LED to replace 60 watt incandescent. Each NexGen is less than 1 watt, so don’t know why sales rep thought it could throw comparable light to 60 watt bulb. I provided very specific details about my intended use to him. He should have advised me that these lights were not suitable.

      Dekor lights are designed to accent and enhance your environment, not to directly replace the illumination qualities of an incandescent bulb. While the NexGen Dots do directionally emit light equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb across the same surface area, they are not designed as equivalent light sources.     1.) Products are 5-star but website and determining product specifications and compatibility is not as good as it could be. 2.) Kits should come in 4-light packs and component compatibility with the plug and play cords should be clear on website. 3.) I am now trying to purchase more Dekor exterior soffit lighting and there is not a method to personally plan my project needs without calling and spending lots of time on the phone mainly regarding compatibility issues and needs.
